David Merrill is an Attorney at Bace Law Group, LLC. and is licensed to practice law in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Prior to joining the Bace Law Group to practice bankruptcy, Attorney Merrill founded The Law Office of David M. Merrill in 2008, representing clients in family law, landlord tenant disputes and criminal defense cases. He also worked with small businesses to draft operating agreements, negotiate contracts and guide them through the incorporation process. Prominently among these companies is Diego’s Newport, LLC., with whom Attorney Merrill has been a legal consultant since 2007. Additionally, he is a member of the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project where he represents clients pro bono in housing and predatory debt collection matters.
During law school, Attorney Merrill worked as a legal intern for The Law Office of Vinca Jarrett and Associates in 2006, where he drafted contracts and other legal agreements for the entertainment industry. In addition, he served as a student Prosecutor for the Roxbury District Attorney’s Office in 2007 where he handled the prosecution of misdemeanor crimes. Attorney Merrill earned his J.D. from New England Law | Boston (2007) and his B.S. in Medical Biology from the University of New England (2000). While in law school, he served as President of the Intellectual Property Law Association from 2005 to 2007, was a member of Phi Delta Phi, and consistently made the Dean’s List.
